In addition to the attractions, movie theater and waterparks the Wisconsin Dells/LakeDelton area offers, there are also a lot of area parks, adult sports leagues, and state parks.

STATE PARKS


Devil's Lake State Park S5975 Park Road Baraboo, WI 53913 608-356-8301 Devil’s Lake State Park in Baraboo, WI is often called the Midwest’s “Yellowstone” and it’s Wisconsin’s most popular state park. It features 500-foot quartzite bluffs overlooking a pristine 360-acre lake and is a popular rock climbing & paddling destination. There are 2 large picnic areas, sandy swimming beaches, 3 large campgrounds & large group camp area. Devil’s Lake also encompasses a unique section of the Ice Age National Scenic Trail and offers over 29 miles of hiking, biking and ski trails surrounded by many more miles of secluded Wisconsin back country.

Mirror Lake State Park E10320 Fern Dell Road Baraboo, WI 53913 608-254-2333 This park is named for its centerpiece, a lake which often is so calm that not a ripple marks its surface. The lake reflects a wooded shoreline with cliffs up to 50 feet high, a swimming beach, and wetlands that are home to a variety of wildlife. Just three miles from Wisconsin Dells, Mirror Lake is also close to Devil’s Lake, Rocky Arbor and Buckhorn state parks. Rocky Arbor State Park US Highway 12 & State Highway 16 Wisconsin Dells, WI 53965 608-254-2333 The fragrant pine trees and mysterious sandstone bluffs at this 244-acre park offer a cool summer escape for the picnicker or hiker. There’s a one-mile self-guided nature trail for wildlife watchers too.




LOCAL PARKS


Bowman Park Located on the south side of Broadway. Facilities include a band shell stage, playground equipment, two lighted basketball courts, shelter, picnic tables, grills and restrooms. A great shelter to rent for a picnic or birthday party. Blass Lake Located in Lake Delton. Public access is carry in only with no boarding dock and the launch surface is unimproved. There is no public parking for vehicles or vehicles with trailers. Speed restrictions on Blass Lake - No person shall operate any boat on Blass Lake at greater than a slow no-wake speed. As Lake Blass is carry in only launch, the only allowed mean of propulsion is paddles or trolling motors. Fishing: Pan Fish. Canyon Road Multi-Use Path The 1.36 mile path is for bicyclists, joggers and pedestrians. It runs along Lake Delton on the south side of Canyon Road between East Adams Street and County Road A. Captain Bob’s Park Located off Progressive Drive on Miller Drive next to the Poppy Waterman Ice Arena in Lake Delton. This park is equipped with a picnic shelter, eight picnic tables (seating approximately six adults), electricity, three garbage cans and grill. Public restrooms are located at the Poppy Waterman Ice Arena. Deerwood Glen Located east of Hwy 16 going towards Portage, WI. Facilities include park shelter and green space. Indiana Ave Boat Launch Located on Indiana Avenue just west of River Road. Daily launch fees and season pass available. Off-street parking is also available. Jenkins Lookout Park Located on the east side of River Road. 1 ½ blocks north of Broadway on the right just as you cross the bridge. Kaminski Park Located off County A and Dam Road in Lake Delton. The softball fields at this park are reserved only for the Adult Softball League and may not be reserved. Lake Delton Public Beach Located on Park Drive in Lake Delton. Hours 10 am - 7 pm. Swim at your own risk, no lifeguard on duty. No glass allowed. Lake Delton Public Boat Launch Located at the corner of East Adams Street and Canyon Road in Lake Delton. Lake Delton Sk8 Park Located on 90 Progressive Drive in Lake Delton. This is a free public skate park. Hours of operation will be 8 am to dusk weather permitting. Public restrooms are located at the Poppy Waterman Ice Arena. Newport Park 70 County Road A in Wisconsin Dells Located on the Lower Dells of the Wisconsin River on County Highway A next to Rivers Edge Resort. Facilities include sun shades, picnic tables, electricity, grills, restroom, boat launch ($8.50 per day), fishing pier and beach. Dogs and other domestic pets prohibited. Public Tennis Courts Located on Race Street just north of the Wisconsin Dells High School. Ralph Hines Memorial Park Located at the intersection of West Delavan and South Birney Street in Lake Delton. This park is equipped with a picnic shelter, eight picnic tables (seating approximately six adults), electricity, three garbage cans and grill. There are public restrooms nearby. Rotary Park Located north of Broadway at the intersection of Race Street and Indiana Avenue. Facilities include restrooms, shelter, concession stand, two youth baseball fields and a playground. Veteran’s Park Located on Veteran’s Drive behind the Post Office. Facilities include municipal swimming pool, wading pool, basketball court, playground equipment, fitness course, picnic tables, shelter, restrooms, and grills. This park also has two baseball/softball fields. Weber Park Located in the northeast corner of Oaklawn subdivision on Weber Avenue. Facilities include playground equipment and picnic tables.

MUNICIPAL POOL


Wisconsin Dells Municipal Pool 510 Veterans Drive Wisconsin Dells, WI 53965 The Wisconsin Dells Municipal Pool is located on Veteran’s Drive. The pool is ADA accessible and amenities include a heated zero-entry kids wading pool with water toys, waterslide, mushroom water fall, and more! The main pool is an Olympic-size 50-meter pool with a waterslide, basketball hoop, diving board, and swimming lanes. The pool will open Saturday, June 4 for the season. Hours: Open Swim: Tuesday-Sunday (12-5 pm and 6-7:30 pm) **Monday (1-5 pm) Adult Lap Swim Only: Lanes open during normal operating hours. 2018 Pool Rates: Open Swim Resident Individual Season Pass $52
